2. What are the characteristics of the badminton court? 
-The badminton court has a blockish shape with the following parameters

Width Single court is 5.18 m and the double court is 6.1m. Thus, depending on the size of the single or double badminton court, we've different areas. Specifically, the single badminton court will have an area of, 412 m2 while the double badminton court will have an area of 81.74 m2. 
The standard lines of the badminton court 

The touchline is resemblant to the net and is located at the end of each side of the field. 
The length of the Baseline: is equal to the range of the badminton court. 
Doubles sideline:  A straight line with birth forms the external boundary lines for the badminton court. 
Centerline : The line is vertical to the net, helping to divide the court into two right and left corridors for the players to serve. 
Short service line: About 2m from the net, also known as the short service line. 
Long service line: This is a long service line, when serving you mustn't let the shuttle go beyond this line. 
Badminton court specifications 
The badminton court must be blockish with the background color generally green or blue. 
The material of the badminton court can be hardwood or synthetic rubber. 
The standard badminton court size for mates and doubles is fixed. 
The field's boundary line is 4 cm wide, the lines are easily drawn, and easy to see with white or unheroic makeup. 
Right on the double line will be placed 2 badminton posts 1.55 m high. 
The extent of the badminton court is measured from the external edge of one sideline to the external edge of the other. 
Standard badminton court specifications 

Attention 
The badminton post must be strong enough so that when the net is tense, it remains upright. 
Badminton posts and other badminton accessories aren't allowed inside the court. 
The badminton net must be of equal consistency, the mesh is in the range of 15 mm- 20 mm. 
The size of the net is 76 cm wide and 6.7 m long. 
The height from the center of the net to the ground is 524m. 
When stretching the net, make sure that there are no gaps between the two pillars and the net.
