When playing badminton, players will stand on two sides divided by a net in the middle. Players score points by bringing the ball over the net with a racket and hitting the ground on the other side of the opponent's court. The turn of the shuttle ends when the shuttle hits the ground, or is at fault by the umpire or the line umpire, in the absence of a referee, by the player himself, at any time during the turn of the shuttle.
In gymnastics badminton, there may or may not be a court. If there is no field, just draw the line, points will be calculated for the opponent when one of the two sides let the bll touch the ground on their own court. In addition, badminton gymnastics may not count matches but only score points, sometimes no points.
